Last Unrest - bodies in (climate) crisis

Video Duration : 4 minutes 20 Seconds
When we step outside in the hope to make our lives better with comfort (development), we forget the unnaturally fast pace of this process. In this growth we forget how disoriented we feel, how disconnected, from our own selves. The speed of our individual and public life is so high that it threatens the planet as well as our capacity to be meaningfully aligned with the ecosystem. Our minds and hearts race creating more havoc than history. but are bodies are worn out, wishing to slow down, to feel their skin and the dangers to it.

नाटक | Natak
Video Duration : 3 Minutes 5 seconds
Climate change is real but denied existence in consciousness. Modern civilisation represents a drama that we all participate in, absent-mindedly, to soothe us, to make immediate reality look better.  But of course we cannot look backstage, where truths are produced and bodies are animated. Where climate change is declared a conspiracy, a non-issue. We are scared to look inside our hollow puppet-like existence so we continue to perform.  The result is almost always a loss of connection with nature and ourselves. Natak is a cover for our loss. Natak is our suspended grief, where mourning shall never appear. But the drama continues and all of us always participate.

Video Duration : 3 Minutes 40 seconds

We live in an odd era. We are increasingly connected with each other virtually but paradoxically alienated. The connection between humans and nature is lost (Lupt). We anxiously seek comfort in the wrong places, ignorant of the various ways the cycle of human life is tied to that of the earth. The video is a demonstration of our uneasiness, the cause of which is unknown. While it is a big part of our lives, we tend to not contemplate about this uneasiness. A little more feeling, a little love for ecology might save us. Or at least clarify what really matters.

कानाफूसी | Kanaphusi
Video Duration : 4 Minutes 35 seconds
The current pandemic has revealed that human beings with their pet technologies (smartphones, social media, television, radio, print) are more than capable to spread information at a tremendous rate. All of us, regardless of our background, have been at the receiving and transmitting ends of crucial information about safeguarding ourselves. Terms like social-distancing, quarantine, are a part of our lingo and every whisper has been important in saving lives. We wash hands, we wear masks, we tell people to wash their hands and to wear their masks. Like clockwork. The same is hardly true for Climate change; even though it threatens whole species and not a small percentage of individuals, entire ecosystems and not just the economy. If we also begin to whisper hard enough about climate change, perhaps it might actually become an issue in all our minds rather than an environment science lecture.
